So, new President of Israel is Shimon Peres. He has announced his candidacy for president, an office tarnished by rape and other sexual misconduct charges against its current occupant, Moshe Katsav.
Peres, 83, is Israel’s elder statesman, and the presidency would cap 60 years of public service at the highest levels. Besides he is really seemly man and perfect politic, he is more then anothers deserved this post. Mazal Tov!

It was nice sunny day Last Friday June 8, 2007, besides it was the date of the annual Gay Pride parade in Israel.
Several thousand gays, lesbians, and activists were marching and partying at the beach bash hosted in Tel Aviv. They walked and danced in a carnival atmosphere from the central Rabin Square to a strip of downtown beach to hear DJs, musical acts, performance artists, and local singing stars.
There were protesting too, shouting seems indispensable but in general all was beeing nice and I hope representatives both of sides had a jolly good time.
